Connect Group
Podcast
The Bible is not always easy to understand. Paul calls Timothy to study so that he can correctly handle the Word of Truth (2Timothy 2:15). We gather in Connect Groups to do just that … to study the Word, get our questions answered and encourage one another to keep on persevering. When a member of the Connect Group is away, they will often ask to record the session to stay caught up. These podcasts are stored on Spotify and are available to anyone who desires to listen. We are currently working our way through the book of Revelation.

What will you find here? Well … our studies are:
-
Slow and deep. Questions are encouraged and the occasional “rabbit trail” is always welcomed.
-
Open to all … no question is considered irrelevant.
-
Both theological and practical.
-
Always centred on the Word. We have a exceedingly high view of Scripture, believing it to be the inspired, inerrant Word of God.
-
The teaching is firmly rooted in conservative, Pentecostal, Arminian traditions.
In terms of our particular study in Revelation, you will find the study:
-
A blend of preterist, historical and futurist theology (don’t worry if you don’t understand all the language … we will cover it all!)
-
Linking greatly to the Old Testament
-
Taught without dogmatism. While we believe that the book of Revelation CAN be understood, Apocalypse is never easy and no one has it perfect.
So, if this still intrigues you, we invite you to join us on a journey through this incredible book of the Bible by clicking the link below. The study was started in December 2024 and will likely go until at least the end of June 2025. Finally, if you would like to join us in person, we meet each Thursday evening at 7:00pm at the church.

Blessings in Christ!
